South African Social Security Agency(Sassa) Has Official publish When Beneficiaries Will Receive their Money on March 2026.
Sassa distributes over 18 million permanent grant payments, including the Older Persons pension grant, Disability grant, War Veterans grant, Care Dependency grant, Foster Child grant, Child Support grant, Child Support grant Top-Up and Grant-in-aid. This is in addition to the approximately 8 million individuals who receive the temporary Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant.
March 2026 Sassa Grant Payment Schedule Released
As part of their commitment to ensure a fluid and efficient distribution of funds, SASSA has set the regimen for grant payments over three consecutive days:
- Older Persons Grant: Tuesday, March 3, 2026
- Disability Grant: Wednesday, March 4, 2026
- Children’s Grants and all other grants: Thursday, March 5, 2026
Important Reminder for Beneficiaries
SASSA has once again reminded beneficiaries that:
There is no need to rush on the first payment day.
Funds remain in your account until you withdraw them.
You can access your money anytime after it reflects.
This helps reduce overcrowding at pay points, ATMs, and retail stores.
How to Collect Your SASSA Grant
Beneficiaries can access their grants through:
Direct deposit into personal bank accounts
SASSA/Postbank card withdrawals at ATMs
Retail stores such as Shoprite, Checkers, Pick n Pay, Boxer, and Spar
Designated SASSA pay points in rural areas
Make sure your banking details are correct to avoid payment delays.
