1. Accountant – 1 Post
The successful candidate will support the hospital’s financial management functions and special programme activities.
Key Responsibilities
The Accountant will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with insurance requirements and procedures
- Preparing, submitting, following up, and properly managing insurance claims and related documentation
- Managing financial matters relating to development partners and donor-funded projects
- Maintaining relationships with corporate clients and other strategic partners
- Preparing and implementing special projects and corporate agreements that can financially support the institution
- Maintaining the general ledger, journal entries, and accounting records
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Conducting bank reconciliations
- Preparing budgets and cash-flow forecasts
- Preparing management reports
- Ensuring compliance with VAT, PAYE, WHT, and other statutory obligations
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS, Tanzanian tax regulations, and hospital financial policies
- Analysing financial performance and recommending cost-control measures
- Working closely with external auditors
- Maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and professional standards
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants for the Accountant position should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- Tanzanian citizenship
- A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
- CPA (T) or an equivalent recognized professional qualification
- At least six years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Tanzanian tax regulations
- Experience using accounting or ERP systems such as QuickBooks and Tally
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
2. Public Relations Officer – 1 Post
The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for managing the hospital’s public image, communications, media relations, and engagement with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Manage hospital public relations and media engagements
- Manage, update, and maintain the hospital’s official website
- Upload approved institutional information, including news, announcements, services, events, achievements, and vacancies
- Prepare press releases, official statements, speeches, and other communication materials
- Manage official social media platforms and public communications
- Promote hospital services, achievements, and activities
- Coordinate media interviews, events, and stakeholder engagements
- Monitor public perception and media coverage
- Support crisis communication and reputation management
Qualifications and Experience

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, or a related field
