The VCAA and VTAC offer three options for accessing VCE results and the ATAR: internet, mail, and app. The VCAA also offers an email option for accessing VCE and VCAL results.
The VCAA and the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) encourage all students to register for access to the VCE Results and ATAR service before the release of results.
The registration process
You will need:
- your VCAA student number and personal details
- to create a secure password
- to only register once – your password can be used for both the internet service and the mobile app.
If you have a VTAC account, this will NOT give you access to the VCE Results and ATAR Service.
Only current year results are recorded on this service.
Getting your results
Results are available online and by mail, email and mobile app.

- VCE and VCAL results and ATAR statements will arrive in the mail from Thursday 16 December 2021.

VCE Statement of Results
VCE Statements of Results from 1991 contain Year 11 and 12 subjects, S and N unit results and CAT grades. Statements of results (VCE, HSC and Matriculation) before 1991 contain Year 12 subjects and letter grades (A-E).
VCE statements of results from 1994 onwards contain study scores. For the years 1992-1993 study scores were calculated and issued by the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC). All queries about study scores for these years should be directed to VTAC .
Tertiary Orientation Programs (TOP), Approved Study Structures (STC) and the Technical Year 12 (T12) results are available.
Other statements of results
- Intermediate (Year 10) results are available for the years 1931-1967.

The Victorian Certificate of Education contains the student’s name, year of completion and student number. It states that the student has satisfied all the requirements for the VCE. No subjects or results appear on the certificate.

The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning contains the student’s name, year of completion, certificate level and student number.
Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning Statement of Results
The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning Statement of Results contain the student’s details and a list of results which include results for studies in VCAL units, VCE units and VET units.
VET Statement of Results
The replacement Vocational Education and Training (VET) Results statement lists satisfactorily completed units of competency.
