This position will be based in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
•Review historical sales trends and budget updates, analyse and validate data.
•Research demand drivers by liaising with Sales, Marketing and Finance.
•Prepare forecast data and use statistical modelling and error analysis techniques to improve forecasts.
•Present and assess feedback on the various forecasts from Sales, Marketing, Finance and Production.
•Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
•Manage and track weekly sales pattern to identify trends.
•Build matrix of risk/ no risk SKU (driven by value) in order to know when to react.
•Maintain demand planning system and manage weekly sales pattern to identify trends.
•Provide insights on Sales trends. Requirements
Requirements:
•Grade 12 certificate, combined with a National Diploma or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or related.
•5 years Demand Planning experience in FMCG or retail environment with knowledge and understanding of Retailer Portals and Nielsens/ IRI or other market data.
