Sassa Old Age Grant Payment Amount
The amount of the old age grant varies with an individual’s age. As of the last adjusted amount for SASSA grants dated April 1, 2024, persons aged between 60 to 74 years will receive a payment of R2,180 per person, whereas those from the age of 75 years will get R2,200 per person.
Come October 1, 2024, the age grant monthly payments will go up by an extra R10 per person. The new amount for persons aged 60 and 74 years will be R2,190 per person per month while beneficiaries aged 75 years and above will receive R2,210 per person per month.
