Selection of form One students is an important process in the education system in Tanzania. Every year, students who finish the Standard seven are selected to join secondary schools, and in 2027 you have witnessed this process taking place in a modern way through the Office of the President, Regional Administrations and Local Governments (TAMISEMI) and the National Examinations Council (NECTA).
When Will Form One Selection 2027 Be Released?
The Form one Selections it come few weeks after Announcement of Standard Seven Reults ,This year Parents and Students Expect to get the Selection in the end of December 2024 or Early of January 2025.

The Form One Selection list for the academic session 2027 includes students selected for both boarding and day government schools across Tanzania. This includes regions such as:
- Mara, Mwanza, Shinyanga, Tabora, Singida, Dodoma, Morogoro, Pwani, Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Tanga, Kigoma, Kagera, Rukwa, Lindi, Mtwara, Mbeya, Iringa, Ruvuma, Songwe, and Njombe.
How to check Form One Selection via TAMISEMI website
Checking the names of students selected to join Form One in 2025 through the TAMISEMI website is a simple process and can be done Via the simplified steps below:
- First step is to visit the official TAMISEMI website via the URL www.tamisemi.go.tz.
- On the TAMISEMI website homepage, go to the Announcements section where you will see a new announcement about “Form One Selections 2025 Results” or ” Click on the link to proceed.
- After opening the selection results page, you will see a list of all regions in Tanzania. Select the region you want to check the selection results.
- After choosing the region, the Form One Student Selection page for the selected region will open. Here, you will need to choose the council you want to check the Form One Student Selection.
- Once the selection results page for the selected Council is open, choose the school you are interested in. Then, the list of all schools in the Council will be displayed.
- To view the list of selected students from the selected school, you must click on the link of the school, and you will be able to access the list of all the names of students selected to join form one for that school.
- You can also download or save the page as PDF for future reference.

Form One joining instructions for 2025 form one selection intake
- First, visit the official TAMISEMI or NECTA website at www.tamisemi.go.tz or www.necta.go.tz.
- Once you are on the website, go to the Announcements or News section and look for the link titled “Form One Joining Instructions 2025” or
- Click on the link, and you will find a list of schools. Select the school where the student has been selected to join.
- Click on the school’s link to download the joining instructions forms.
