Background
Nafasi za kazi Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute(Moi) January 2021 Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI) is an autonomous institute established under ACT. No 7 of 1996 with the main objective of providing primary, secondary and tertiary care of preventive and curative health services in the field of Orthopaedics, Traumatology and Neurosurgery, as well as being role model for efficient hospital management in Tanzania.
The Institute also involve in human resources development for the nation and also carries out research in these fields with a view of developing cheaper ways of treatment of patients and reducing invalidity to members of the community. Currently the Institute has a bed capacity of 150 beds, (Private 30 and general 120).
With the completion of New MOI building (MOI PHASE III) the Institute will have the capacity of more than 380 beds, it will also includes the installation of MRI, CT-SCAN and introduction of Telemedicine services where as all services will be offered based on paperless system.
The management of the Institute is based on a new Public/Private Mix concept geared towards performance improvement and self-sustainability.

To provide Equitable, affordable, Accessible Quality Services, Training and Research in Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery and Traumatology by using efficient and effective Hospital Management, public /private financing practices, and modern technology, supported by trained, skilled and motivated staff for self-sustainability.
