The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and will be based in Dar es Salaam,Tanzania.Further details of the vacancy are as follows:
Job purpose:
Responsible for Growth, Innovationand Marketing function of the company.
Output/Core Tasks:
âť–To explore, identify and develop strategies to drive new business growthfor the company.
âť–To research and lead innovation initiatives in line with market needs and trends.
âť–To lead and supervise business development /marketing team todrive set deliverables.
âť–To establish and maintain strong customer relationship with existing clients, prospective clients,business partnersand intermediaries.
âť–To oversee preparations and issuance of proposals/quotes/bid documentsto prospective clients
âť–To keep abreast of market developments affecting the business.
âť–To oversee Marketing and Public Relations function.
Minimum Requirements: 1. Qualificationsand Experience.
Relevant business degree.
•An Insurance related qualification would be an addedadvantage.
•A minimum of 8 years or more experience in a business development role at senior levelwith reasonable exposure in marketing,preferably in financial services sector.

1.Strong Business Acumen/entrepreneurialskills,2.Business development skills with asolidtrackrecord.3.Result oriented, self-driven and ability to work with minimum supervision.4.Strong interpersonal and relationship managementskills.5.Ability to think strategically, innovatively and creatively 6.Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.7.Excellent presentation and reportingskills
