Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service by handling information inquiries, reservations, ticketing, passenger check-in, baggage check-in, aircraft preparation and problem resolution for all passengers and potential passengers/guests.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Greet and provide outstanding service to all Fastlink safaris customers and guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
- Answer telephone to provide information, resolve problems or complaints, and assist as needed;
- Handle all aspects of reservations, ticketing, check-in, seat assignment, passenger boarding, and baggage service
- May handle cash, checks, credit cards, and travel vouchers as forms of payments for tickets;
- Communicate to customers when a flight has been delayed or cancelled and work to re-accommodate them according to company policy
- Provide current and accurate fare, schedule, gate, flight arrival and departure information, as well as answer general inquires both in-person and over the telephone;
- Provide check-in assistance, ticketing changs, re-booking of itineraries and special service requests for passengers.
- Board/deplane flights and escort passengers to and from aircraft in a timely and efficient manner, and assist passengers, as needed;
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and increase satisfaction;
- Ensure Fastlink Safaris, Airline and Airport regulations are followed at all times.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications and skills:
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to push/pull/lift 20kg for extended periods of time
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Diploma or certificate in the related field
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Experience with microsoft office products including outlook, word and excel
- Positive attitude and winning personality
- Passion for people, building relationships with customers and delivering top-notch service
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in a service or hospitality related environment desired
- Experience in aviation is desired
- Organizational and Multi-tasking skills: Agents must be able to do several things with constant interruptions.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime, as needed
- IATA customer service agent accredition will be a plus

Fastlink Safaris Limited is looking for an experienced Aircraft load control agent to join out team. The ideal candidate has at least one full year experieance as an aircraft load control agent, has an unrestricted driver’s license for at least one yaer and a clean driving record. As a Load Control Agent at Fastlink Safaris, you are capable of accurately completing all load control activities, you know how to operate a jet-bridge, you are able to plan the distribution of aircraft load in accordance with passenger, cargo and fuel requirements. You must be reliable, punctual, cordial to your co-workers and a self-starter; who understands the importance of working safely and efficiently. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a positive “can do” attitude and you are very motivated to go above and beyond what is expected.
Job Description:
The primary role of the load controller is to ensure that accurate weight and balance data is generated, in order to support safe, compliant and efficeint flight operations.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Comply with safety in the workplace.
- Accurately complete all Load Control Activities
- Plan distribution of load in accordance with passengers, cargo and fuel requirements.
- Coordinate and communicate with affected departments, external and internal customers to ensure the smooth handling of passengers and dead load weight and balance issues in delay situations.
- Display care and diligence in all activities.
- Safe, efficient, compliant and aligned workplace.
- Plan, coordinate and produce all loading, weight and balance documentation in accordance with Company and Client airline specifications, with or without the use of the Departure Control System
- Ensure the safe distribution of the load within prescribed aircraft limitations and Company Operating Manuals/Procedures.
- Be familiar with client airline manuals including loading and stowage of dangerous goods.
- 100% Compliance with Customer Airline Weight and Balance and Customer Airline Policies and Procedures, enabling safe practices and compliance with Aviation and other legislation.
- Delivery of safe, compliant and customer-focused weight and balance services.
- Comply with customer airline regulatory requirements as well as Company Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain load control certification and demonstrate ongoing skills through the recertification process.

Qualifications and skills:
- Knowledge of the principles of weight and balance and their application in a commercial airline environment.
- Awareness of the impact that Load Control activities have on airline operations and the interface with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
