How to Register on the City of Tshwane e-Recruitment Portal for Government Jobs

Step 1: Visit the City of Tshwane e-Recruitment Portal

  1. Open your browser and go to the official website: https://www.tshwane.gov.za
  2. On the homepage, hover over “Our Services” and click on “e-Recruitment” or search directly for “e-Recruitment Portal”.

Step 2: Create an Account

  1. Click on “Register” or “New User”.
  2. Fill in your personal details:
    • Full name
    • South African ID number
    • Valid email address
    • Contact number
    • Create a secure password

Note: You must have a valid email and cellphone number to receive job alerts and OTPs.

Step 3: Complete Your Profile

Once registered, log in and complete your user profile:

  • Educational qualifications
  • Work experience (if any)
  • Skills and languages
  • References
  • Upload your certified documents:
    • ID copy
    • Matric certificate
    • Qualifications
    • CV (in PDF/Word)
    • Driver’s license (if applicable)

Step 4: Search for Jobs and Apply
