Principal Planning Officer II

JOB TITLE: Principal Planning Officer II – (1 POST)

MINIMUM ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:

Must have a Master’s Degree in one of the following fields; Planning, Project Planning, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent qualifications from any recognized Institution

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields; Planning, Project Planning, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent qualifications from any recognized Institution

Must have at least ten (10)years of working experience in a related field

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze the impact of economic growth in relation to Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) business and operation and advice the Management accordingly;
• Coordinate research on areas that have an impact on ATCL business;
• Perform a cost-benefit analysis of the entire ATCL operation and business;
• Continuously scan the internal and external key success factors and identify opportunities;
• Coordinate preparation of ATCL’s business and operation strategies;
• Develop and coordinate the implementation of aviation-related investment and projects;
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Conducts Performance Reviews and Appraisal of subordinates and gives feedback respectively.
• Perform any other official duties as may be assigned by a supervisor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation of plans and budget;
• Gathering information and key in data for projects analysis;
• Solicit information for reports preparation;
• Support data collection for the research and survey;
• Collect and key in data for the business analysis;
• Solicit data required by aviation regulatory bodies associations like TCAA IATA, ICAO, AFRAA; and
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Technician II – Upholsters (3 Posts)

Position:

Aircraft Technician II – Upholsters (3 Posts)

MINIMUM ENTRY QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Must be a holder of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.

Vocational Certificate Level III Fitter Mechanics majoring in Upholstery manufacturing will be an added advantage. Candidates are required to take a special course in sewing aircraft cabin upholstery.

Sew upholstery (fabric and leather) to new aircraft seat covers, carpets, car tents, etc. according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Repair upholstery.

Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor. Aircraft Engineer II – Structural (5 positions)

Minimum entry requirements and work experience:

• You must have a mechanical engineering diploma from an accredited institution.
• Another advantage is a Level III Professional Qualification as a fitter/mechanic specializing in bodywork repair.
• After being hired, candidates are required to take a special course on repairing aircraft structures.

• Supervised work in workshops, hangars, and line maintenance areas.
• Assisting in the removal and installation of aircraft parts, repair, assembly, and testing of aircraft systems.
