What Is the Difference Between Matric Remark And Recheck?

What Is the Difference Between Matric Remark And Recheck? Sometime These two matric terminology it seem confused some people who are think is the same while not the page will help to Find how the Matric Remark are differ from the Matric Recheck.

What is a Recheck?

A recheck is when your marks for a certain matric paper or subjects gets checked again. All answers and mark allocation will be calculated and checked to determine if the correct score was given.  The cost of a recheck is R27 per subject.

What is a Remark?

When an entire exam answer sheet is marked over again, that is a remark. A remark costs R112 per subject. It is more expensive as the answer sheet needs to be marked and the marks allocated needs to be calculated as well.

The Difference Between A Recheck And A Remark

An examiner marks your paperAn examiner only looks through your paper
Your paper is remarked to ensure all questions are marked fairlyYour paper is checked to ensure you were given the correct mark allocation
