How to claim your myUTSA ID
Your primary student ID at UTSA is your myUTSA ID (abc123). To log into practically everything here, including UTSA ASAP, you’ll need it. You will first need to activate your myUTSA ID in order to access ASAP.

- Check your Admission Status and Missing Application Items
- Check your Rowdy Ready Status (for Admitted Students)
- Check your Academic Standing (for Admitted Students).
You can check the status of your application online after you’ve submitted it, such as “decision made” or “incomplete item outstanding.”
You will be able to see what more information, such as test results or application costs, we will need to complete your admission files if the status of your application is “incomplete”. - Scroll to the bottom of the page until you find “Requirements” if “Application Status = Incomplete items outstanding.” You must submit all requirements that do not have a date in the “Received” column in order to finish your application.
