Job description

An exciting role has become available in an advertising agency based in Cape Town. We are looking for an energetic and digital savvy social media manager to run a number of social media accounts for our B2C and B2B clients. Your main responsibilities will involve creating and executing content and social media management based on the digital strategy developed for our clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop social media conversation and content plans monthly
• Run social media pages on multiple platforms (from scheduling to advertising spend)
• Ability to write and respond according to agreed brand voices
• Ability to immerse yourself and understand the clients brand quickly
• Conceptualise and manage social media competitions, campaigns and give aways for clients
• Respond to comments and questions with immediacy
• Compile weekly and Monthly reports on insights and findings
• Must be photoshop and/or Canva savvy
• Must have own transport

Requirements

• Minimum one year proven social media experience (facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Youtube)
• A love for content creation
• Attention to detail
• Deadline driven
• Be photoshop or Canva Savvy
• Excellent writing skills
• Innovative, creative, Passionate
• Problem solver
