Job Description
- Controlling and reconciliation of all financial transactions and data
- VAT and other Tax calculations
- Preparation of financial reports, statistical reports, annual reports and other company reports
- Reconciliation of balances and open items of customers and suppliers
- Journal posting of business activities (incoming and outgoing accounts, taxes, cash, fixed assets, depreciation, loans, salaries, accruals etc.)
- Payroll checks and approvals
- Assisting in internal budgeting & forecasting process
- Assisting with annual audit and audit queries
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and active monitoring of statutory changes in accounting, taxes and legal frameworks.
- Working on improving business processes, procedures and efficiency with application of the best accounting practices
More about you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Reporting, VAT/Tax calculation, Accounts reconciliation
- Advanced Excel
- Highly analytical individuals who are able to work effectively under pressure
- Deadline driven individuals who display high levels of integrity
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A reliable and responsible team player
- Able to employ critical thinking in overview of accounts
- Experience in a global company advantageous
