Job summary.
The Office Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene of the office and other assigned areas.
This includes performing routine cleaning tasks, managing supplies and inventory, assisting in office logistics for meetings and events, and supporting waste management efforts.
The role also includes coordinating the receipt and storage of office sundries and materials, ensuring that the office environment remains efficient and welcoming for staff and visitors. The Office Assistant will play a key role in maintaining a smooth and organized office environment.
Knowledge, skills, qualifications, abilities and behavior competencies:
- Diploma in Office Administration, Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of proven working experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

In doing so, carries an important responsibility, being entrusted with the lives of Children and staff and the reputation of SOSCV. In all their work, the individual should serve as a good role model for village children.
Knowledge, skills, qualifications, abilities and behavior competencies:
- Certificate of Secondary Education and Certificate from VETA, National Institute of Transport (NIT) or any recognized colleges / institutions.
- Must possess VIP driving Certificate
- Have valid driving license at all the time
- At least 2 years’ working experience, preferably NGOs.
- Basic knowledge on Child rights and Child protection.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills.
- Fluent in English and Swahili.
3:Procurement & Logistics Officer – 1 position
Job Summary
The Procurement and Logistics Officer will be responsible in ensuring the efficient, transparent, and cost-effective management of procurement and logistics functions that enable timely availability of goods, services, and operational support required for effective program implementation.
The position contributes to organizational accountability, value for money, and compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements while strengthening supply chain systems that support the delivery of quality programs for children, young people, and families served by SOSCV.
The role aims to enhance operational efficiency by ensuring that procurement and logistics processes are well planned, well-coordinated, and responsive to program needs, thereby enabling program teams to deliver results effectively and responsibly.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Abilities, and Behavioral Competences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and supplies, Material Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- 3 to 4 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement and logistics.
- Knowledge of Logistics and Transport Management
- Be able to use effectively computerized integrated Financial Management and Human Resource System
- Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, policies, and best practices.
- Good understanding of procurement compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks.
