PURPOSE OF POSITION
Nafasi za kazi World Vision-Field Monitor|Ajira mpya November 2020 This Purpose of Position will be used in the WVI or local Careers site, and if applicable, advertisements. Describe the purpose of this position and how this position contributes to achieving department objectives and the management and performance of others.
To monitor the delivery, distribution, documentation and reporting associated with all commodities supported to refugees. Work hand in hand with relief committee members
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
List statements describing the final results of this position and method of accomplishments, and how results/performance are reviewed and measured. Begin with the most important accountabilities.
% Time Major Activities End Results Expected
10% Ensure that assigned distribution site /chute is adequately clean and that all necessary working tools are available prior to food distribution Clean working environment
30% Based on the approved distribution plan inform the relief committees on the quantities of food expected and ration scales.
Beneficiaries knowledgeable on their entitlement
40% Oversee the distribution process in collaboration with the relief committees and ensure proper rations are distributed Beneficiaries receive right entitlement (FBM reports)
10%
Supervise receipt/offloading of food/non-food commodities to ensure correctness of quantity, content and quality as per the waybill
All key documents are well documented timely
10% Compile periodical reports and ensure their accuracy and timely submission these include daily reports, weekly reports and end of distribution circle reports Available of accurate reports

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
List education, knowledge & skills, licenses preferred, and all experiences required to perform this position in a fully competent manner.
Minimum education, training and experience requirements to qualify for the position:
List academic requirements (if applicable), technical skills, or other knowledge required as a minimum qualification for this position.
Degree or Advance Diploma in Procurement, Accounts, Social Sciences, Education or related field from recognised Institutes
List additional work experience required as a minimum qualification for this position.
Experienced in working with humanitarian context
Experienced in working with commodities program or Accounts.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
List academic requirements, technical skills or other knowledge preferred for this position.
Good communication skills
Analysis skills
Interpersonal relationship skills
Work Environment
Include travel & work environment details.
Complete Travel and/or Work Environment statements if applicable.
The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically by 100%
