JOB VRCRRCY: Office Administrator/ CoordinatorNafasi za kazi Tanzania Insurance brokers association (TIBA)-Office Administrator/ Coordinator Tanzania Insurance brokers association (TIBA) is looking for an Office Administrator cum Coordinator, capable to multi-task with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude.
Candidates should be able to assist the Governing Council, Members and visitors to the Association, handle a variety of tasks in order to ensure that all interactions between the organisation and others are positive and productive.
The Administrator will be expected to provide polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, keep office records, planning and generally coordinate and manage association activities and the workplace.
To be successful the candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. Should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. The Administrator must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel. Must be fluent at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, Administrator should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.

About TIBA
Tanzania Insurance Broker Association (TIBA) was registered under Interior Ministry / RITA . TIBA has a constitution which was accepted by all members in 2010 TIBA is run by a Board of Senators who are elected by the members.
The main objects of TIBA are to promote interaction among the Insurance Broker Members and to encourage, promote, facilitate and protect the interests of the members of TIBA and to provide an avenue to the members for further education, training and research in all fields of insurance and represent the interests of Brokers with other organizations.
Current TIBA has more than 90 live members. TIBA members control over 60% of the entire insurance market. It is compulsory for any broker to be a TIBA member before you can obtain a valid broking licence. Broking license is renewable annually
TIBA has a satellite branch and northern region catering for Kilimanjaro, Moshi and Arusha. It intends to open Zonal offices at Lake Zone and Zanzibar very soon.
We envision an Industry that offers opportunities to both local and foreign Investors and whose commitment to the Industry would result into the prosperity of the Industry for generations to come.
Our mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of Brokers in the market through the various supports extended by ourselves as an Association, which through enforcement of rules and covenants will also assist to support initiatives and improvements that will benefit the greater good for the Industry.
In all our activities to achieve our vision and mission we value integrity, fairness, consistent firmness and common sense, community participation, respect and cooperation with all other key Industry players.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Diploma or equivalent in Insurance, Mass communication, Marketing, Law or business administration
Proficient in computer with Microsoft office application
Fluent in English and Swahili (Multilingual is an added advantage).
Prior experience will be an added advantage.
Attention to detail.
Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
