ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Senior Human Resources and Administration Manager– Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The incumbent will be responsible to ensure the policies and standards are applied consistently and compliance to ICAP procedures and guidelines within the country’s operations in all the offices in Tanzania.
The successful candidate will hold Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and master’s degree is preferred. He/She have a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in HR Management with a reputable organization or private company with at least 100 employees of which at least 5 years in a senior position, proven leadership skills and competence in people management and working with senior management and Leadership.
The incumbent will have a demonstrated understanding and working knowledge/experience of Human Resources Management principles, concepts & processes. The Senior Human Resources and Administration Manager will also have experience with managing large amounts of confidential employee information and should possess Extensive knowledge on local labor law.
