Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Sorting and counting dirty linen received from hospitals
  • Receiving soiled linen from various healthcare facilities
  • Operating and assisting with laundry machines and equipment
  • Washing hospital linen according to procedures
  • Preparing and dispatching clean linen to clients
  • Issuing and delivering linen to hospitals and clinics
  • Packing clean linen into bags and trolley systems
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the laundry workspace
  • Following supervisor instructions and operational procedures
  • Performing additional delegated duties when required

The role requires consistency, reliability, and adherence to workplace safety regulations.
