About Yapi Merkezi

A group firm, Yap Merkezi Holding A., focuses mostly on the construction industry. Ersin Arioglu and Koksal Anadol started it in Istanbul in 1965. Yap Merkezi Construction and Industry, the first and largest company in the Yap Merkezi Group, has completed the design and construction of a wide range of buildings, rail systems, and large-scale construction projects. The business has also completed contracts since 1980 in nations like Saudi Arabia,[1] United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, and Ethiopia. Yap Prefabrication Merkezi

The first business in its industry to receive the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance accreditation in Turkey was the company founded in 1978. Yap Merkezi established Freysas in 1987 in collaboration with Freyssinet International. Since then, Freysas has completed projects utilising cutting-edge building techniques like post-tensioning, heavy lifting, and ground anchorage. Yapkonuthas joined the team in 1994 and completed projects such the Arkeon Housing Complex, Amkonaklar, Sokullu Estates, NP12 Estates, and Sisli Plaza. Irmak Schools, an educational institution, opened their doors in 1995 when qualified Education Institutions Inc. was established. The Group established SUBOR Pipe Industry Inc. in 1996 to produce high-end technology composite building materials.

Yapray joined the group in 1995 in order to benefit from the group company’s expertise in the rail systems sector and take into account the rising demand for intercity and urban rail transportation. Yapray offers services for railway system design, development, and operation.

Yap Merkezi built the majority of the current rail networks in Istanbul. Examples of turn-key projects completed by Yap Merkezi include the Dubai Metro, Ankara-Konya High Speed Railway, Casablanca Tramway, Algeria Bir Touta-Zeralda Railway, Medinah High Speed Train Station, Izmir Metro, Eskisehir Tramway, Kayseri Tramway, Taksim-Kabatas Funicular System, and Antalya Tramway.

Estram (Eskisehir LRTS) received the 2004 UITP (International Association for Public Transport) “Light Rail Project of the Year” award. Kayseray received the 2010 UITP “Best Urban Integration Project of the Year” award and the 2004 UITP “Worldwide Project of the Year” award (Kayseri Light Rail System). Yap Merkezi built both tramway systems as a turnkey project.
