Requirements Before You Register
Before starting registration, prepare the following:

Certified copies of qualifications

Proof of registration with professional bodies (if required)

Contact details (email and phone number)

Teaching council registration (for teaching posts, if applicable)

To register on the Western Cape Department of Education’s E – Recruitment Database please follow the steps below:
Step 1
Click the following link: Register on WCDOE’s E – Recruitment Database.
You will land on the page shown below.
Step 2
Click on the blue button written “E – Recruitment System for Educators”. You will land on the page shown below:
Step 3
Click the red button written “click here to register”. You will land on a page shown below:
Step 4
Fill in your basic registration details. This will allow you to gain access to the platform. After this registration you will recieve an OTP (One Time Pin) to the email address you provided when registering. You have to enter the OTP on the screen shown below:

You have to log in using the email address and the password you provided to access the platform. The following screen will be shown to you:

Upon logging in, you will be redirected to the main platform where you can upload all your qualifications, your personal details, employment history and so on, as shown below. Enter all your details and click submit.
