What Are GCE Results?
The General Certificate of Education (GCE) is an examination conducted annually for students who either want to improve their grades or earn their secondary school certificates. In Zambia, the ECZ is responsible for administering the GCE exams and releasing the results. The GCE 2024 results will be available to students who sat for the exams earlier in the year. These results are not only an assessment of academic performance but also a gateway to new opportunities.
GCE Results 2025 Release Date
Students often ask, “When do GCE results come out?” The GCE results are typically released by the Ministry of General Education a few months after the exams are completed. For the 2024 GCE exams, it is expected that the results will be released between late August and early September, depending on how quickly the Ministry processes the exams.

How to get GCE Results Zambia:
- Once the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of General Education announced at a media about the GCE Results 2024 students will be able to check the results.
USING MOBILE MOBILE PHONE:
Students can check for the 2024 GCE results using your Mobile Phone through the following procedure;
- 1. Open the message pad on your Mobile Phone
- 2. Type the Full Examination Number (Leave Space)
- 3. Type Examination Year (Leave Space)
- 4. Type Examination Grade and then
- 5. Send to 8383

The SMS Service is available on ZAMTEL, MTN and AIRTEL at a cost of Zambian kwacha 4 for each successful transmission.
