  • Candidates who fail to reach the standard required for grade 5 (FIVE) will have nothing reported on the statements of results or certificates
  • Endorsement grades are only shown on certificates where the overall syllabus grade in the language concerned is Grade G(g) or better.

  • Distinction, Merit and Pass will be awarded to candidates who meet the requirements of ICE.

  • ‘UNGRADED’ shows that the candidate failed to reach the standard required for Grade e(e) for GCE AS Level and Grade E(e) for GCE A Level.

What is the Cambridge International Results Dispatch?

The results dispatch is a specific portal that contains the information you need about the March 2021 series results.

The ‘hard copy results reports’ of pages 2–3 lists the documents in this dispatch, and tells you what you need to do with them.

What is ‘Pending’ and ‘No Result’?

In your result report, you may see these terms:

  • ‘PENDING or Q’ means the result cannot be issued at present and will follow in due course.
  • ‘NO RESULT or X’ means one of the following:
    • Notified the candidate was absent or withdrawn from one or more components of the exam and so is not eligible for the award of a grade.
    • There is no record of a mark in one or more components of the exam for the candidate and notified they were absent or withdrawn. Therefore, they are not eligible for the award of a grade.

Grade Vs Percentage Uniform Marks Range

The board does not provide a percentage uniform mark when the candidate’s result is Ungraded, No Result, Pending or To Be Issued. The table below shows the percentage uniform mark range for each grade:
