Buffalo City TVET College invites  NCV Level 4 qualification Stuents at Buffalo City TVET College to Apply for the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in-service training placement programme for the Academic year 2026 ,This Programme Looking for only 16 learners.

About Buffalo City TVET College

Buffalo City TVET College was established in 2002 through the merger of three institutions in the Greater East London area: East London College (including its St Marks Campus), Border Technical College, and John Knox Bokwe Careers College in Mdantsane.

Following the merger, the College Council made strategic adjustments to streamline operations and enhance educational delivery. The Border Technical College premises were closed, with its Business Studies programmes integrated into the East London Campus, while its Engineering programmes were transferred to the St Marks Campus. The John Knox Bokwe Campus continued to offer both Business and Engineering Studies under the Report 191 curriculum.

Fields Accepted for the WIL Placement

The college has stated that all NCV programmes are accepted, except for the following:

  • Tourism
  • Mechatronics

Students from programmes such as Business Studies, Engineering-related fields (excluding Mechatronics), IT, Office Administration, Safety in Society, Education Support and other NCV streams are encouraged to apply.

If your qualification falls outside Tourism and Mechatronics, you are likely eligible.
