About Buffalo City TVET College
Buffalo City TVET College was established in 2002 through the merger of three institutions in the Greater East London area: East London College (including its St Marks Campus), Border Technical College, and John Knox Bokwe Careers College in Mdantsane.
Following the merger, the College Council made strategic adjustments to streamline operations and enhance educational delivery. The Border Technical College premises were closed, with its Business Studies programmes integrated into the East London Campus, while its Engineering programmes were transferred to the St Marks Campus. The John Knox Bokwe Campus continued to offer both Business and Engineering Studies under the Report 191 curriculum.
