What Is the Long Term Insurance NQF Level 4 Qualification?

This qualification focuses on competencies required in:

  • Insurance sales support
  • Client services
  • Policy administration
  • Claims processing support

You will learn:

  • How insurance products are structured
  • How to interact professionally with clients
  • How to process documentation
  • Ethical and regulatory frameworks in insurance

Requirements

To qualify, you must:

  • Be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Be unemployed
  • Have a valid Matric certificate
  • Have passed English
  • Have passed Maths / Maths Literacy / Accounting
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Not have attended a previous learnership
  • Not be registered with any academic institution
  • Not be studying during the programme
  • Have reliable transport
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be able to work independently
  • Show initiative
  • Have basic computer skills (MS Office, email, internet) – advantageous
  • Own a smartphone or laptop – advantageous

If you do not meet these requirements, your application may not be considered.

Stipend and Placement

Learners will receive a monthly allowance (stipend) for the duration of the 12 months.
