As part of the expansion of its Tanzania Country Program, ACF is inviting qualified, passionate, and dedicated individuals to apply for the position of Field Officer. The Field Officer will support the implementation of ACF’s HIV/AIDS healthcare and community intervention programs at the regional level by coordinating field activities, engaging communities, strengthening health facility partnerships, and ensuring effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and implement HIV/AIDS healthcare and community outreach activities.
Conduct community mobilization and awareness campaigns on HIV prevention, testing, treatment, and stigma reduction.
Support the linkage of clients to healthcare facilities and treatment services.
Collect, verify, and submit accurate field data and project reports.
Monitor project implementation and provide regular progress updates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local government authorities, health facilities, community leaders, and partner organizations.
Organize community meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Support monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities.
Identify challenges affecting project implementation and recommend practical solutions.
Ensure compliance with ACF policies, donor requirements, and ethical standards.
Candidate Qualifications & Experience
Education: Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Community Development, Social Work, Nursing, Clinical Medicine, Health Sciences, or any related field.
CareerCounselingExperience: At least 1 year of experience working with NGOs, community health projects, or healthcare programs. Fresh graduates with strong volunteer experience are encouraged to apply.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care, and community health programs.
Key Skills: Strong report writing, documentation, and interpersonal skills; computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
Languages: Fluency in both English and Kiswahili.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
