What Is NSFAS Wallet?

The NSFAS Wallet is a digital system that allows students funded by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme to receive and spend their allowances electronically.

Once funds are released by NSFAS, they are deposited directly into your wallet, which you can access using your registered cellphone number.

First step is to create a cash voucher:

  1. Dial *134*176#
  2. Enter your NSFAS wallet password
  3. Select option 1. Cash Voucher
  4. Enter amount
  5. You will then get your voucher

Second step would be to go and withdraw it:

  1. Go to a merchant which has partnered with NSFAS and Celbux
  2. Through their NSFAS Wallet, they would then state how much they wish to withdraw
  3. A voucher will then be produced
  4. Present the voucher number to the merchant
  5. You will then be given cash in exchange for the voucher
