How to Calculate Your UNISA APS Score  If you want to Pursue your study at Unisa – The University of South Africa you need to Meet some Admission score,This page describe How To Use An APS Calculator For Unisa.

How To Calculate APS Score

An Admission Points Score (APS) is a measure of your academic performance in your National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination as it relates to the requirements for a certain programme that you may apply for.

The University of South Africa (Unisa) has different Admission Points Score (APS) requirements for each qualification that it offers.

Before students submit an application they must check whether they meet the statutory, college-specific admission requirements and the required APS for their chosen qualifications.

UNISA APS Calculator

Students can make use of many APS calculators to find the exact courses they may qualify for.

You can calculate your own APS score by adding the points of your six best subjects in high schools (excluding Life Orientation), the percentage you received for that subject will determine your points. The total number of points you receive is your APS.

How To Calculate APS Score

The point system works as follows:

  • 80% – 100% = 7 points
  • 70% – 79% = 6 points
  • 60% – 69% = 5 points
  • 50% – 59% = 4 points
  • 40% – 49% = 3 points
  • 30% – 39% = 2 points
  • 0% – 29% = 1 point

Once you have added all your points then you will have your APS score.

Students can visit Unisa’s website

to see which qualifications they will qualify for with their APS.

As some Unisa qualifications have limited spaces available students should note that meeting the general and specific admission requirements for a qualification does not guarantee they they will be offered a space at the university.
