We have an immediate opening for a full-time Eval and Repair Coordinator, specializing in Audio. The Eval and Repair Coordinator for Audio works alongside the National Product Coordinator for Audio and local QC technicians to ensure equipment eval and repair status levels of the assigned category are maintained within defined parameters. This position will be primarily concerned with managing RMAs, repair orders including some basic repair responsibilities, working with the Product Coordinator on equipment disposal, and maintaining stock levels of spare parts. Success in this position means keeping our equipment in rentable condition.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete administrative tasks including managing equipment status under eval, repair, gonzo, and other internal uses to keep equipment on rent
- Work with department leads and the QC team to evaluate damaged gear and determine repair and/or parts needs, and manage RMA for equipment to be sent back to the manufacturer
- Work with the Missing / Damaged team to quickly provide information regarding repair and replacement costs as needed
- Perform basic component level repairs and return equipment to service
- Follow direction of the department leader and managers
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from high school or a GED
- At least 2 years of related audio experience
- Strong technical knowledge of audio technology and applications
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with fluid priorities daily
- Availability to work some weekends, after-hours, and on-call as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge in set-up, operation, and troubleshooting of computer and audio-visual equipment
- Prior experience in live event production
- Experience with MS Navision Inventory system and / or Rental Tracker Pro
