• The Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority will make funds available for its operation for the financial year 2020/2021. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the supply of Gas Oil.
• TAZARA now invites sealed Bids from eligible National Suppliers for carrying out the supply of Gas Oil at nozzle point and Management of Gas Oil Depot(s) at:
  • Lot 1: Yombo Depot in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania:
  • Lot 2: Mbeya Depot in Mbeya, Tanzania; and
  • Lot 3: New Kapiri Mposhi Depot in Kapiri Mposhi, Zambia.
• Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Method of Bidding as per procedures specified in the TAZARA Procurement & Supplies Manual of November 2011 and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Manual.
• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the Secretary of the Central Tender Committee, TAZARA Head Office, Nyerere/Mandela Roads Junction, P. 0. Box 2834, Dar-es-Salaam or the office of the TAZARA Lusaka Area Manager, TAZARA House, Independence/Dedan Kimathi Roads Junction, P. O. Box 31784, Lusaka, Zambia from 08.00 to 16.30 hours E.A.T or C.A.T from Monday to Friday, except on public holidays.
• A complete set of bidding documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application
  to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USD 200.00 or its equivalent in Tanzanian Shillings or
  Zambian Kwacha. Payment should either be by Cash, Telegraphic Transfer or Cheque payable to Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority.
• All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration/Bid Security in the format provided in the bidding documents.
• All bids in one original, plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked “TENDER NO: TZR/HQ/CTC/2019/2020/05 for the Supply of Gas Oil at Nozzle Point and Management of Gas Oil Depot(s)” must be addressed and delivered to the Secretary of the Central Tender Committee, TAZARA Head Office, Nyerere/Mandela Roads Junction, P. O. Box 31784, Lusaka, Zambia by Friday 29^th May 2020 at or before 10:00hrs C.A.T or 11:00hrs E.A.T. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders or representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony at TAZARA, Head Office Board Room in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania or TAZARA Lusaka Area office Board Room in Lusaka, Zambia.
• Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, and bids not received, bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.

1. The Tana nia-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) intends to lease Plot No. 305, measuring 33.8 Acres, located within the TAZARA Area, in Dar es Salaam. Plot No. 305 is being leased on A s is” basis and TAZARA shall bear no further liability during the lease period.
2. TAZARA now invites sealed tenders for the lease of Triangle Plot No. 305 on Build Lease Operate and Transfer basis.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Procedures, which are specified in the TAZARA Procurement & Supplies Manual of November, 2011.
4. Interested tenderers may inspect Triangle Plot No. 305 through the Office of the Secretary of the Central Tender Committee, at TAZARA Head Office, Room No. 210 Dar Es Salaam, on any day from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs.
5. Interested and eligible Tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tendering Documents from the office of the Secretary of the Central Tender Committee, Room No. 210, TAZARA Head Office, Nyerere/ Mandela Roads Junction, P. O. Box 2834, Dar-es-Salaam.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USD 200.00 (Two hundred dollars). Payment should be by either Cash, Bank r’s Draft, or Bank r’s Cheque, payable to Tana nia-Zambia Railway Authority.
7. All tenders in one original, plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes, must be delivered to the address indicated below, at or before 11 .OOhrs E.A.T. on Friday 29^th May, Bids will be opened promptly, thereafter, in public and in the presence of bidders or their representatives who may choose to attend the opening ceremony at TAZARA, Head Office Conference Room in Dar es Salaam, Tana nia.
