Job description

We have an exciting opportunity at Truworths to work for our YDE brand as a Designer Co-ordinator.

This role oversees the monthly designer payments which includes updating designers space in stores, rentals and any ad hoc expenses incurred; updating of all legal agreements; orders all in store designer signage; liaison between YDE and the designers, and marketing. The role sources new designers, ensuring all relevant forms are competed and checked.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sourcing new designers, reviewing their applications and setting up their training and onboarding;
  • Creating and updating reports in excel;
  • Assisting with marketing / promotions and social media;
  • Petty Cash;
  • Arranging YDE end of year party;
  • Assisting customer services with queries regarding returns/designers merchandise;
  • Liaising with various departments and stores;
  • Ordering of in store designer signage;
  • Capture monthly designer payments;
  • Assist designers with queries;
  • Drafting & updating contracts.



QUALIFICATION(S) AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum post Matric qualification – Degree or Diploma;
  • Strong administrative experience;
  • Retail experience and sense of fashion;
  • Proven track-record in a similar role;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Team orientation;
  • Quick learner;
  • Organised and systematic;
  • Highly self-motivated and driven;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Solutions driven / problem solver;
  • Deadline driven and pro-active;
  • Numeric ability;
  • Computer literate and intermediate excel skills;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
