What do annual lesson plans consist of?

Each of South Africa’s eleven official languages has its own version of the country’s subject-based annual teaching plan. After downloading, they evaluate the subject-specific requirements for the current academic year.

The Annual Teaching Plan outlines each term’s worth of weekly lessons for the whole school year, along with the knowledge, skills, and character traits that should be stressed. It provides an overview of what each student should have done by the conclusion of the semester.
