Economics Grade 12 Examination Guidelines for Mid-Year and Final Exams Guidelines for the Economics Grade 12 Midterm and Final Exams in 2023: Knowing what the Grade 12 Economics examiners will likely be looking for will make studying easier. The mid-year (June) and final exams for grade 12 (November) are determined by outside examiners.

The goal and character of the topic of Economics for Grade 12 are described in the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) for Agricultural Management Practices. This directs the educational perspective used to teach and evaluate the topic in Grade 12. Candidates will be expected to have mastered the curriculum mentioned for Grades 10 and 11, in addition to the material from Grade 12.

It does not go into great detail about practical assessment tasks (PATs), final external practical examinations, or school-based assessments (SBA), as these are covered in a different PAT document that is updated yearly.
