Air Gets Dirty When? Grade 2 Air Pollution Lesson
Air Gets Dirty When? Grade 2 Air Pollution Lesson The major issue of air pollution is brought on by man-made gases and chemicals that are emitted into the atmosphere. Find out how students may contribute to the fight against air pollution by learning about typical sources of chemical contamination of the atmosphere and other types of air pollution.
Air Gets Dirty When……….?
Here are some examples of how air gets dirty:
- Cars and Trucks – Cars and trucks produce a lot of exhaust fumes that contain harmful chemicals. When we drive, these fumes go into the air and can make it dirty.
- Factories – Factories produce a lot of smoke and chemicals, which can be released into the air. This can make the air around the factories very dirty.
- Forest Fires – When there is a forest fire, smoke and ash are released into the air. This can make the air around the fire very dirty and can be harmful to our health.
- Construction – When there is construction happening, it can produce a lot of dust and debris. This can make the air around the construction site very dirty.
