About the Position

Our client, a well-established high-end property development management company, seeks to employ a Junior to Mid-career level BEE Architect, for their newly established division, within Cape Town, but managing projects nationally.

Ideally, we would require a candidate who has experience in high-end and luxury property development experience, dealing with hospitality, retail and/or commercial projects.

This role is at a junior/mid-career level and would be ideal for a candidate with a proven and diverse portfolio but who is also able to work well as part of a small development team. You must therefore have a proven track record in the following:

You will have a Degree in Architecture, valid and recognised Professional Registration, plus 3-5+ years relevant experience in the design high-end and luxury property development
Knowledge of the Land Use Planning Ordinance and related statutory processes and regulations would be required
Project management experience with project documentation management essential.
You will have a proactive approach to new developments, have a creative flair and work well within a small and progressive team.
You will be working primarily on exciting new high-end developments, on a national level, which will include involvement involvement in design, detailing, estimations, client liaison and technical documentation management, as well as working with the Development Project Manager on town/urban planning aspects and ensuring presentations are well rounded and accurate for presentation to investors and stakeholders.
