REQUIREMENTS

Matric 

RE5 or relevant qualification

Min 3 years sales experience in commercial short-term insurance

Proven sales track record

Previous experience working within Short-Term Brokerage ESSENTIAL

Confident individual with excellent people communication skills

Focused customer service and a good team player

Empathy and integrity qualities essential for dealing with clients

A self-starter who can work successfully unsupervised

Clear Criminal record

Valid drivers license

Own transport

DUTIES

Sales and Marketing in order maintain top service with existing portfolio of clients

Selling of short-term insurance to SME companies

Building and maintaining business relationships with clients

Scheduling and attending meetings

Discussing and assessing clients’ current and future insurance needs

Researching insurance policies and products

Negotiating policy terms and costs with insurance providers

Arranging insurance cover for clients with the insurance provider

Keeping detailed computer records

Preparing reports for insurance underwriters

Renewing or amending existing policies for clients

Undertaking general administrative duties

Salary:    Dependent on experience
