The South African youth who want to kick start their Careers are invited to Apply for the  Shoprite Money Market YES Programme 2026.

Over 40 years ago, Shoprite made a promise to bring the lowest prices in quality food and essential home goods to its customers. This promise is the very foundation of our business and has helped to fuel our growth to becoming Africa’s largest grocery retailer. Today, with almost 700 stores in South Africa and more than 170 more across Africa, and 25 million loyal shoppers, Shoprite continues to provide communities with a variety of food products, household goods, home appliances and value-added services – at the lowest possible prices.

What Is the Shoprite Money Market YES Programme 2026?

The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a national initiative that teams up with private companies like Shoprite to create work opportunities for unemployed youth aged 18–34. YES placements generally run for 12 months and give participants hands-on experience in actual retail environments — including Money Market departments where financial services are offered.

The Money Market YES Programme focuses on training youth to work with financial products and services offered in-store, such as money transfers and customer service — skills that boost your employability and can lead to future career opportunities.
