Rutgers Academic Calendar 2022/2023Important University Dates Here is the 2022–2023 academic calendar for Rutgers. Any and all dates could change. For the academic calendar, students enrolled in the PMAC and PMBA programmes at the Rutgers University School of Business-Camden should speak with their programme coordinators.

Unless otherwise specified below, classes will be offered on holidays. For information on announcements regarding cancellations or schedule changes because from inclement weather or other situations, visit the Rutgers University-Camden homepage.

1. Registration for Fall Term Classes Begins on Monday, April 4 2022.
2. Rutgers move-in day for First-Year and Transfer students is Thursday, September 1 2022 to Friday: September 2 2022. First-Year and Transfer Move-in 8:30 a.m.-12 noon; New Student Convocation at 4 p.m.
3. Returning Student Move-in day is Saturday, September 3 2022 to Sunday, September 4 2022.
4. Labor Day Holiday is Monday, September 5 2022 on the Rutgers academic calendar 2022-2023.
5. Rutgers Fall Semester classes begin on Tuesday, September 6 2022.
6. The last day to DROP a class(es) without a W grade is Thursday, September 15 2022.
7. Deadline to ADD a class(es) is Thursday, September 15 2022.
8. Thursday, September 15 2022 is the deadline for completing Incomplete grades from Summer before being converted to “F” grade.
9. Monday, September 19 2022 is the last day to Withdraw from All Courses for 100% Refund.
10. Monday, October 31 2022, is the last day to WITHDRAW from all classes in order to receive tuition refund.
11. The last day to Withdraw from an individual class with a “W” grade is Monday, November 8 2022.
12. Monday, November 21 2022 is the last day to WITHDRAW from University (all classes with a “W” grade).
13. Thanksgiving holiday is from Thursday, November 24 2022 to Sunday, November 27 2022.
14. Regular classes end on Wednesday, December 14 2022.
15. Reading Day is Thursday, December 15 2022.
16. Final Exam Period is from Friday, December 16 2022 to Thursday, December 22 2022.
17. Rutgers Winter break 2022 is from Saturday, December 24 2022 – Monday, January 2 2023. All University Offices Closed. No Classes.

1. Registration for Winter Session begins on Monday, October 10, 2022.
2. The last day for Winter Session Registration and bill payment without a late fee is on Monday, December 5, 2022.
3. Late Registration for Winter Session begins on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, with a $125 late fee.
4. The last day to DROP a Winter Class in order to receive a 100% refund; and the Last Day to ADD a class (Late Registration) is on Thursday, December 22, 2022.
5. Winter Session begins on Friday, December 23 2022 (except Maths classes designated as 50:640).
6. Diploma Application Period for May Graduation is from Monday, January 2 2023 to Wednesday, March 1 2023.
7. Winter Classes resume after Winter break on Tuesday, January 3 2023.
8. Wednesday, January 4 2023 is the deadline to WITHDRAW with 50% refund.
9. Friday, January 6 2023 is the last day to Withdraw from a class with a W grade. Deadline 5:00 p.m.
10. Snow Make-Up Days (if necessary) are Saturday, January 7 2023, and Saturday, January 14 2023 according to Rutgers academic calendar 2022-2023.
11. Winter Session Ends on Friday, January 13, 2023.
12. Winter grades are due from Instructors on Friday, January 20 2023.

Rutgers Spring Semester Begins on Tuesday, January 17, to Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Check out the important dates and deadlines on the Rutgers academic calendar for Spring 2023.

1. Registration for Spring Term classes begins on Monday, November 7 2022.
2. Diploma Application Period for May Graduation is Monday, January 2 2023 to Wednesday, March 1 2023.
3. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday is Monday, January 16 2023 on the Rutgers academic calendar 2022-2023.
4. Diploma Conferral Date for January Graduates is Monday, January 16 2023.
5. Spring 2023 Semester begins on Tuesday, January 17 2023.
6. The last day to ADD a class is Thursday, January 26 2023.
7. Thursday, January 26 2023 is the last day to DROP a class without a “W” grade.
8. The last day to DROP ALL CLASSES and receive 100% refund is Monday, January 30 2023. Subject to change.
9. Undergraduates deadline for completing Incomplete grades from Fall or Winter before being converted to “F” grade is Wednesday, February 1 2023 according to Rutgers academic calendar.
10. Diploma Application Period for May Graduation ends on Wednesday, March 1 2023.
11. Rutgers Spring break 2023 is from Saturday, March 11 2023 to Sunday, March 19 2023.
12. Wednesday, March 22 2023 is the last day to withdraw from ALL classes in order to receive a tuition refund.
13. The last day to WITHDRAW from a class with a W grade is Monday, April 3 2023 by 5:00 p.m
14. Monday, April 17 2023 is the last day to WITHDRAW from the entire Spring term. The deadline is 5:00 p.m.
15. Fall “TZ” and “NG” Grades are Automatically Converted to “F” after 5:00 p.m on Monday, May 1 2023.
16. Spring 2023 Regular Classes end on Monday, May 1 2023.
17. Reading Days are Tuesday, May 2 2023 & Wednesday, May 3 2023.
18. Final Exam period is from Thursday, May 4 2023 to Wednesday, May 10 2023.
19. Degree Conferral Date for May Graduates is on Sunday, May 14 2023.
20. Rutgers University-Camden Commencement and Convocation Ceremonies TBD
21. Memorial Day holiday is Monday, May 29 2023.
22. Undergraduates deadline for completing Incomplete grades from Spring before being converted to “F” grade is Thursday, June 1 2023.
