Who Can Apply for the Nedbank YES Programme?

Nedbank yes program is not for everyone You must meet the Requirement Criteria Listed Bellow

  • Be South African youth aged between 18 and 29 years by 1 May 2026
  • Be born between 2 May 1997 and 1 May 2008
  • Have at least a Matric (Grade 12) qualification

OR

  • Have a post-matric qualification such as:
    • NQF Level 5 (Higher Certificate)
    • NQF Level 6 (Diploma)
    • NQF Level 7 (Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree)

Employment Status

  • Be currently unemployed
  • Not studying full-time
  • Not participating in another YES programme
  • Have never participated in a YES programme before

Programme Duration 

Successful applicants will be contracted for:

  • 12 months of quality workplace experience

Programme start date:

  • 01 May 2026

This fixed-term placement allows youth to gain valuable exposure while building skills that improve future employability.

The YES Programme is not:

  • A learnership
  • An internship
  • An apprenticeship
