Internship Duration and Stipend

• The internship programme usually runs for 12 to 24 months

• Interns receive a monthly stipend as determined by government guidelines

• The programme is not permanent employment, but offers valuable experience

Who Can Apply for the Mpumalanga Provincial Treasury Internship Programme 2026/27

• Be an unemployed graduate aged between 18 and 35
• Have completed a three-year diploma, degree, honours or master’s qualification
• Qualification must be from a recognised accredited institution
• Be a South African citizen
• Reside within Mpumalanga Province
• Must not have previously participated in an internship programme

Failure to meet these requirements will result in disqualification.
