JIUNGE NASI WHATSAPP TU FOLLOW. BONYEZA HAPA Job Vacancies At JSI Tanzania October 2023
Job Vacancies At JSI Tanzania October 2023 For more than four decades, JSI has worked with the Government of Tanzania and other partners to accelerate progress on the country’s health and development priorities. Together, we’ve trained and deployed health workers, improved health data collection and use, introduced new vaccines, and expanded services to vulnerable populations. JSI manages multiple programs with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the United States Agency for International Development, the World Health Organization, and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.
Our USAID-supported Community Health and Social Welfare Systems Strengthening Program worked with the government to control HIV by expanding health and social welfare services to vulnerable populations, with a special focus on most-vulnerable children and people living with HIV. The program developed the National Integrated Case Management System to ensure most vulnerable children receive comprehensive HIV services— with the assistance of more than 18,000 JSI-trained community case workers who identify and track all cases.
JSI and our EpiC program partners improved the quality of comprehensive HIV and TB prevention, treatment, care, and support services at 55 high-volume police and prison facilities in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.
Our Global Health Supply Chain Technical Assistance-Tanzania project provides in-country logistics support to improve the delivery of health commodities to service sites, and strengthens the policy environment to improve supply chain performance. The project also set up and implemented at scale a national electronic logistics management information system for the public health supply chain. The team is now providing technical assistance to the government to manage and maintain the system.
Our inSupply Health affiliate uses technology, such as unmanned aerial systems, also known as drones, to deliver health commodities to various geographies and conducts route-optimization modeling using best-in-class technologies. InSupply Health also promotes the use of data to improve supply chain performance.
In the area of immunization, JSI, the Ministry of Health, and other partners are collaborating with Gavi’s HPV Scale Up project to support national human papillomavirus vaccine-introduction. JSI is also helping to launch a network to generate and synthesize evidence to improve visibility, availability, understanding, and use of immunization costing data. Our inSupply affiliate is supporting immunization performance improvement to capture, analyze, and provide visuals and dashboards for quick decision making.
JSI’s Nexleaf Remote Temperature Monitoring project supports the government to deploy a remote temperature monitoring system using cold-trace devices in 5,000 health facilities across Tanzania.
