The company is based in Tengeru, Arusha, Tanzania. It has 6.3 hectares of greenhouses and employs over 300 permanent people. The seeds produced are all exported to the mother company based in the Netherlands. After thorough quality checks, the seeds are re-exported all over the world under the Enza Zaden logo. Reports to: Financial Controller

Both Tanzanian Citizens and as well as none-Tanzania citizens are welcome to apply

Role of the position

• Responsible for the purchase (incl international) and importation of all required materials at the company.
• Ensure compliance to relevant Tanzania government bodies (TRA/TBS/TFRA/GCLA/TPRI/ etc.,)
• Maintain and manage warehouse processes and ensure that all stocks are correct, and data recorded and kept in a correct order.
• Responsible to manage warehouse stock software package, checking on authorizations and that backups are safely made.
• Train, guide and supervise employees working at the warehouse.

Required Qualification

• Bachelor degree / Master degree in procurement and logistics management.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with conventional work environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Technical knowledge
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
• Work experience of at least 5 years in a managerial position in the relevant field of work.
• Exposure to working with an international company is an added advantage.
