IFM courses and FEES-Institute of Finance Management (IFM) Since its foundation in 1972, the Institute of Finance Management (IFM) stands as the oldest higher learning financial institution in Tanzania and ithas been dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and consultancy. Currently, the Institute enrolls about 9228 students in both undergraduate and graduate programmes.

At IFM, students are inspired and challenged to investigate critical issues of the 21st century in areas of financial management, insurance, social protection, and information technology.
IFM offers an unparalleled student experience, both in and out of the classroom. The Institute has four faculties that award certificate, diploma and degree, postgraduate diploma, and master’s degree. The Institute offers short courses in regular basis to address certain needs in the market. Up to date, the Institute has about 38,321 alumni.

IFM provides academic programmes which include; master degrees, postgraduate diploma, bachelor degrees, ordinary diploma,and certificate programmes.

The programmes are offered on both full time and part time basis.

The philosophy behind these programmes is geared towards producing competent, responsible and creative graduates with all the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding to deal with matters relating to accountancy, banking, computer science, information technology, taxation, economics, insurance and risk management, actuarial sciences, and social protection. Under each programme, a practical training is provided to students as an essential part of their studies. This allows students in mastery of knowledge by direct observation and develop their practical skills in the area of their specializations.

IFM eLearning Management System

IFM eLearning Management System is a platform where students can access learning materials from their lecturers. It is designed to assist lecturers create online classroom settings that enrich interaction and collaboration with their students. The system contains various designed aspects that allow lecturers and students to experience online teaching and learning in multiple ways as it can be used to supplement ongoing courses or to host online courses completely.
