ADOPTION OF GOVERNMENT ELECTRONIC PAYMENT GATEWAY (GePG) SYSTEM
Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) would like to notify the general public and insurance industry in particular that with effective from 30th January, 2019 all payment to Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) shall be made electronically through the newly established GOVERNMENT ELECTRONIC PAYMENT GATEWAY (GePG) system.
All Insurance companies, Reinsurance company, Insurance Brokers, Insurance Agents, Loss adjusters surveyors/Assessors and other stakeholders are urged to contact our offices located in Dar es salaam, Dodoma, Mbeya, Mwanza, Arusha, and Zanzibar office to be given Payment Control Number generated from GePG to furnish their payments to the Authority’s banks Accounts maintained at CRDB and NBC banks.
Be guided that all payment should not be made directly to the TIRA bank accounts without Payment Control Number generated from GePG system.
Important note
Upon your arrival at any of the commercial banks shown, provide the control number to a teller to process the payment.
The control number given replaces bank account’s number of the Authority. Therefore you are required to fill control number in the bank deposit slip in the space provided for filling account number.
