FAU academic calendar Fall 2023

On Saturday, August 13, 2022, the FAU Fall Semester 2022 gets started. The FAU academic calendar for the Fall semester of 2022 includes additional crucial days that are shown below.

Fall 2022 Registration opens on Monday, March 28, 2022.
Non-Degree registration opens on Monday, August 15 2022.
FAU move-in day for Fall 2022 is from August 17 to August 22 2022 (9 a.m. to 6 p.m). Students must schedule a move-in appointment through the Housing portal in July. Check out FAU Canvas and myFAU login guide.
FAU Fall classes begin on Saturday, August 20, 2022.
Add/Drop deadline is Friday, August 26 2022.
60+ audit registration is Monday, August 29 2022.
The last day to pay without late fees is also Monday, August 29 2022.
Monday, September 5 2022 is labor day. FAU Holiday.
Monday, September 19 2022 is the last day to withdraw with a 25% tuition adjustment.
Friday, October 28 2022 is the last day to drop with a “W”.
Friday, November 11 2022 is Veteran’s Day (University closed).
Thanksgiving Break Begins on Thursday, November 24 to Sunday, November 27 2022.
Fall classes end on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
Reading days begin on Monday, December 5 2022 to Wednesday, December 7 2022.
Final exams begin on Thursday, December 8 to Wednesday, December 14 2022.
FAU Commencement/graduation is on Thursday, December 15, and Friday, December 16 2022.
FAU fall semester ends on Friday, December 16 2022.
Your final grades will be available on Monday, December 19, 2022.

FAU move-in day for Spring 2023 is from January 5 to January 7. New residents must schedule their move-in appointment through the Housing portal.
FAU Spring 2023 classes start on Saturday, January 7, 2023.
Add/Drop deadline is Friday, January 13 2023.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday is Monday, January 16 2023.
