The University of Toronto’s student information service, Acorn UOFT, is a one-stop shop for all the things you need to manage your academic life.

Accessible Campus Online Resources Network is known as ACORN. You can keep all of your academic, personal, and financial information using this web-based tool.

Students first have access to U of T acorn on June 22, 2015. Later, Quercus UOFT was introduced.

You can enroll in classes, examine your schedule, edit your address, check your grades and other academic information, view your fees account, request graduation, order transcripts, print tax forms, etc. via ACORN Toronto.

Type in your JOINid or UTOrid.

In order to access your dashboard, click “Log In.”

 

The same link can be used to log into Acorn for students at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) and the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC). acorn.utoronto.ca

To end your session on the U of T ACORN, always use the Log Out button. Once you log in, your session will be active until you log out or until it has been inactive for 20 minutes, whichever comes first. The next individual who uses this computer could read and alter your records if a session was left open.

What will happen if I enrol in courses that result in a timetable conflict?

ACORN will not take any additional actions if you enrol in courses that result in a conflict (i.e it will not drop any course activities on your behalf). It is up to you to resolve any conflicts. You can either leave the courses as they are or enrol in alternative options.

You can try to resolve the conflict in a few different ways:

  • Explore different combinations and permutations of course sections
  • See if you can take one of the courses at a later term
  • Select a different course if one of the conflicting courses is not required to complete your program or degree

How to add courses on Acorn UOFT

Use your JOINid or UTORid to sign in to ACORN.
From the Academics menu, select “Enrol & Manage.”
Choose a session (Fall-Winter or Summer).
To choose the course you want, enter the course code or title in the search field.
You will see a pop-up box where you can choose between a lecture, tutorial, and/or practical (if applicable).
to “Enrol,” click. If your request is granted or if there is no room available in the requested section, ACORN will let you know.

 

How do I designate a course as Credit/No Credit

  1. On the Courses screen, click the gear icon on the top right corner of the course you want to designate as Credit/No Credit.

2.Select ‘Add Credit/No Credit’ from the drop-down menu that appears.

3.If you have successfully added the Credit/No Credit you will receive a success notice on the top right corner of your screen.

How to drop a course on acorns

By dropping a course on ACORN UOFT by the due date, you can have it taken off your transcript if you decide you no longer want to be enrolled in it. To find out if you qualify for a refund, refer to the refund schedule.

Access U of T ACORN now.
Choose “Courses” from the Academics menu.
On the course you want to drop, click the gear icon in the top right corner.
From the drop-down menu that opens, choose “Drop Course,” then click “OK.”
When you successfully drop a course, a notice pop-up message appears in the upper right corner of your screen, and the course is removed from your list of active enrollments.

How to declare absence on ACORN

Declare your absence from academic involvement in the University using the ACORN Absence Declaration section.

If you have missed any academic work, you should report your absence on ACORN UOFT in accordance with the policies established by your faculty or institution.

Before making an absence request on ACORN UOFT, make sure to adhere to the policies established by your faculty or school.

Declare your absence on UOFT ACORN by completing these instructions if you are ill for any reason.

Access ACORN U of T.
From the left-hand menu, select Profile & Settings.
Click on Absence Declaration after that.
From the moment your absence starts until the day you return to school for courses or other activities, note every day you are away from campus.
You’ve finished the acorn absence declaration procedures now.
