ACCOUNTANT JOB DESCRIPTION

• Record daily expenses, Petty cash management and Issue receipts.
• Preparation of budget and reconciling daily expenses with budget.
• Reconciling daily expenses and assist in payroll preparation.
• Statutory submission like VAT, NSSF, PAYEE, WCF, &SDL.
• Payment Withholding tax and submitting the certificate to TRA.
• Preparation of cheques to the bank.
• Bank declaration and Reconciliation
• Keeping records properly on all the respective items
• Keeping updates records on the secured and non secured loans
• Retirements against receipt
• Maintenance of asset register
• Provides financial information to management
• Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Keeping financial information confidential.
• Preparing and maintaining important financial reports
• Preparing tax returns and ensuring that taxes are paid properly and on time
• Strategize solutions to help organizations run efficiently
• Offering guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization.
• Conducting forecasting and risk analysis assessments.
• Managing banking account and perform reconciliation.
• Collecting receipts for expenses and maintain the record.
• And other duties may assign.

ACADEMIC/ QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor degree in Accounting from reputable institutes
• CPA will be additional advantage
• 4 Years of experience in accounting
