Tasks and Responsibilities of SHEQ Interns

  • Assisting with the implementation of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHSE) workplace plans

  • Supporting OHSE administration and maintaining accurate records

  • Participating in workplace audits and compliance monitoring processes

  • Monitoring the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Assisting with occupational hygiene and safety risk assessments

  • Supporting the implementation of risk and hazard prevention measures

  • Promoting effective internal and external stakeholder relationships

  • Attending relevant workshops and SHEQ-related training sessions

  • Providing SHEQ-related administrative support and ad hoc assistance as required

These responsibilities are structured to ensure progressive skills development over the 24-month period.
